Bus service in Plattsburgh and Clinton County
is provided by Clinton County Public Transit, a small bus system with twelve
buses operating on an hourly schedule. Bus
routes operate from Monday to Friday, with a single route operating on
Saturday, and are classed either as city or rural routes. City routes operate in and around the City of
Plattsburgh, while the rural routes travel out to farther-flung villages such
as Ausable and Peru in the south near the Adirondack
Park; Standish and Riverview to the west, actually in the Park; and Champlain,
Churubusco, Mooers and Rouses Point near the Canadian
border in the north.
