Port Hope Transit Page

 

Port Hope Transit serves a population of 16,500 with hourly bus service running from Monday to Saturday.  Two bus routes meet at the Town Hall on Queen Street and one of the routes travels as far as the Northumberland Mall in Cobourg, offering transfers to Cobourg Transit.  There are three cutaway buses in the fleet, and the driving and maintenance of the buses is contracted out to Coach Canada.

801 is a 2008 IC Bus LC Series, spotted waiting for passengers at Port Hope Town Hall on August 20, 2011.  Other cities on Ontario using this bus include Brockville, Kingston, Lindsay, St. Thomas and Trenton.
